Shazam is killing its official Windows 10 app. The company quietly announced last month that it will be pulling its app from the Windows Store, preventing users from downloading the app. Shazam users who already have the app installed will continue to be able to use the app and access all of the features of it, but once you uninstall it, you won’t be able to get it back again:

Shazam didn’t mention why the company is killing its app, but it’s likely due to the fact that users no longer use dedicated apps for music detection. Cortana and other personal assistants already have music detection built-in, so apps like Shazam are pretty redundant at the moment.
