While Skillshare’s website offers only a 1-month free trial, users can actually use this exclusive link that will double that time to 2 months!
This premium trial gives access to all 24,000+ courses, training and also use of the smartphone app. As a bonus, there are no contracts, hidden fees or catches and users can cancel anytime within that 2-month time frame.
As this is a trial, users of course won’t be able to use Skillshare for free indefinitely. But for those that are just wanting to try the service and take a couple of courses, this is a perfect option!
2. Become a Skillshare Teacher Assistant

To apply for the student scholarship, users will need a .edu/ university email address to apply. In total, there are $500,000 worth of discounts to be distributed for the celebration of reaching 500,000 students.
There is also the Skillshare scholarship for those in need of financial assistance which gives eligible users 1 year free of the service.

4. Enter Skillshare Challenges
Another unique way to get Skillshare premium for free is to enter one of Skillshares’s many challenges. For an up to date list of challenges (which is updated monthly), you can head over to their challenges page.
Ok, but how do these challenges work?
While each challenge is slightly different, most of them follow the same thread, which is to incentivize users to create a course on the platform.
The October challenge, for example, is for users to create at least one course, send one premium referral and have 30 minutes of watch time on the course. If all these conditions are met, there is a free 12-month premium trial to claim.
There is also the possibility of winning $1,000 for those who complete the challenge. On top of that, users can also earn money from their course!
5. Find Free Access Links
For another approach, users can also get a free Skillshare premium without any coupons or discounts by using a “free access link”.
This is s system in which Skillshare teachers share “secret” links to their potential students to get them on the platform. Depending on the link, it may give 1-6 months of free access.
